Warriors take USARL 9’s Championship honors in SOUTH

The Central Florida Warriors jumped out to a 20-0 Lead and held on to beat the Atlanta Rhinos in the finals in the USA Rugby League Southern 9s Tournament

Jacksonville went into the playoffs in the second seed (1-1-1) versus the Central Florida Warriors (1-2). The game started off well for the Axemen with a 12-4 lead at the half, but the Warriors made a comeback, scoring 3 more tries for a 14-12 win and a ticket to the final. In the other semi-final, Atlanta Rhinos 3-0 narrowly defeated the Tampa Mayhem 0-3 but simply couldn't match Central Florida Warriors in the final game.

The Warriors kept their Cinderella story alive in the final, completely dominating the Rhinos with a 20-0 win to become the first USARL South 9’s Champions
